Nah, Go to My Inbox
Welcome to Google Buzz, a self-described way to share updates, photos, videos and more, and start conversations about the things you find interesting. It runs through Gmail and is already set up to follow the people you email and chat with the most.
This is Google’s selling point.
Not that Google does not have enough information about you already, Google’s jealously over social networks such as Facebook and Twitter has brought the search giant to your inbox.
I use and promote several tools from Google but this one is just not going to happen. I have over ten Gmail accounts that are for work related items and like a crooked card dealer, I don’t want everyone to see my hand.
If you use Gmail for personal use, your thoughts about Google Buzz might be different, it may have all the features that you have been waiting for.
Noise around the web today
- Some people like Google Buzz.
- Some think Google was in a hurry to rush it out.
- Some are worried about privacy.
- Some just think it’s just another copy cat program.
- And some just plain hate it.
No matter if it is for business or personal, there is a new social network in town and the overall success will be decided by the Internet Nation.
