Coupon Chief Great for Business
![]()
It seems like everywhere you turn there is a new coupon website, which right now is a solid business model because of their popularity during these trying times where almost everyone is trying to save a dollar here and there.
But as new sites go up daily, every now and then one comes into the market with some bells and whistles that really make you take notice, both as a consumer and business owner.
Enter Coupon Chief, this site claims to have the largest source of online coupons and store discounts for apparel, electronics, travel, entertainment and more.
The website has a nice interface with a big search box on top to find coupon codes from some of your favorite retailers. Then over on the right side of the site you have a tag listing, easy navigation.
Coupon Chief also has popular and newly released coupon codes listed for quick access that we tech savvy consumers enjoy, you know, one click promotions.
But what really attracts me to this coupon-based-model is that it allows you to create your own merchant account. That’s right, you enter your email address to get alerts when your favorite stores have new coupons but you can also list your website to offer coupon deals.
Right now, Coupon Chief has almost 300K monthly visitors and it has shown solid growth over the last two quarters. The merchant account is free and it is great way to leverage some guerilla marketing techniques for your ecommerce website.
Whether you sell homemade jewelry or offer consulting services, adding a coupon for your services with Coupon Chief could get you some solid leads from consumers looking for services right now!
Coupon Chief goes one step further and allows you to set up multiple coupon offers so you can have target-specific promotions throughout your site. So if you just put up a website and are looking for a new way to get free lead-generation, check out Coupon Chief.
If you don’t have anything to sell, still set up the alert feature to save yourself some money, you never know when that special item you have been wanting might have a coupon promotion!
Oregon St Beaver MBA, Got Talent
Received an email from a colleague of mine that works with Oregon State University within their MBA Business program. He is looking for placement and if you or anyone in your network is interested, please send me an email and I will connect the two of you.

As you may know, I serve as the placement coordinator for the Oregon State University MBA program. I have some great news!
First some background… Our students work on a nine-month live case during the final year of their MBA studies. During that time MBA teams adopt cutting edge intellectual property from OSU labs and gain hands-on experience in the commercialization of technologies and services.
Here’s the good news. Our students have been so busy, many of them have not had much time to look for work. So some of our best talent is still available.
Please send me an email if you know of anyone who needs help in accounting, finance, information technology, marketing, product management, project management, or technology commercialization. There are strong candidates for summer projects and full-time support.
I like working with potential hiring managers to make a productive match.
Best regards,
Jason
